“When I was hungry you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me…
Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did it to me.” (Matthew 25:35-36, 40)
Based on this scriptural passage, the Epiphany Outreach Committee was conceived many years ago with the vision of answering Christ’s call to serve those in need in our own community and throughout the world.
Each year the Outreach Committee responds to issues like poverty and natural disasters, helping to provide food, clothing, shelter, and health care through several local and international organizations. We have also sponsored youth mission trips within New York State, and in Central America.
Our Outreach program evolves and expands over time as the world changes, and as the passions and concerns of our congregation change. As long as there continues to be need in the world,
there will be work for all of us to do.
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you."
(John 14:27)
